Ecosphere work with a wide range of Councils and Local Authorities including: Brighton & Hove City Council, Ipswich Borough Council, Central Bedforshire, Portsmouth City Council, Lewes District Council and Wealden District Council.
We have a new Sustainabilty Director – Abby Hussain who was previously the Energy Officer at Wealden District Council, he brings a wealth of knowledge to our team and is an expert at SAP Design and Calculations and EPC Reports. Abby is also a Fuel Poverty Energy Champion trainer for Social Housing and Social Housing Liaison Officer.
We are very excited to have Abby on our team and look forward to working with more Social Housing projects using our new funding models.
We begin the process by doing an indepth free audit on your housing stock, looking at where you can reduce costs and cut your C02 emissions. Once we have the report we can look to roll out the most suitable technolgy for you.
We have a large range of funding options available to councils & local authorities meaning you can finance your project and be cash positive from day one, for more information please visit our funding page.
We also offer a ‘pilot scheme’ for councils to test new technologies and prove the savings and income generated over a set period.
Our pilot scheme for Wealden District Council saw us installing 110 heat pumps in their off gas properties. This is an ongoing project with 22o heat pumps installed to date.
This was a ground breaking scheme that lifted hundreds of tenants out of fuel poverty and saved the average house £500.00 a year on their fuel bills.
The project also went on to win The Panasonic Pro Partner Awards (Europe) for best Social Housing Project in Europe. This was a ground breaking project that has seen over 220 households being lifted out of fuel poverty.
